>>>start to take our civil rights away<<<

What civil rights do you imagine will be taken away?

>>>Next they will start intimidating the media ...<<<

That is not next, it has already happened. The main stream media has been promoting fake news, false narratives, and biased reporting for decades. It has gotten worse and worse until it is not even subtle, everyone is aware of it. When the media fails to inform the public in an unprejudicial manner they deserve to be called out and now it is happening. Over the past few decades they have woven an Orwellian tactic called 'Political Correctness' into the delivery to a major extent. The average citizen has been Kowtowed into submission and a generation has been taught that thinking for themselves or standing on principle is bad behavior. If that starts to change it would be a good thing IMO. You liked that because it locked in a socialist agenda you thought too big to fail. Now you are afraid because you imagine right wing extremists could magically do the same thing. I really doubt that but maybe there will be some reasonable adaptation so that the MSM is less extreme and obvious, in their bias going forward.

The world was not perfect, in fact there were some serious societal ills before the political turbulence brought about by this election cycle.

I am willing to wait and see if some good or a lot of good can come of it. You seem to have lost all hope, assuming you had any in the first place.

In your wildest imagination, you can't imagine any good coming from this era of change?
