I don't read the bills closely, but have occasionally and the odd thing is with just medicare there are no co-pays, but with a secondary insurance a co-pay is often charged even though they make no payment. That is one pro oi not having a secondary, but I am sure they have covered many things I didn't notice. Although their payments seem very small it appears accepted and no personal billing. A friend has Aetna which combines your medicare with their insurance. Seems to pay for the same bills, but less confusing.
