DEMONRATS hate literature. FEAR of learning...

Students rip down Shakespeare portrait at UPENN...
  • Students at the University of Pennsylvania removed a portrait of Shakespeare from a prominent location in the school’s English department after complaining that he did not represent a diverse range of writers.
  • The Department had previously voted to remove the painting, so students took matters into their own hands, replacing the portrait with one of an African American writer and delivering Shakespeare to the Department Chair's office.

    >>>"Have you not noticed I am not the only one?"<<<

Of course, but the others don't dare interact with me.

    >>>"Trump is a really scary guy. How can you not notice that?"<<<

I have long held that he is a belligerent and rude bully. He does not scare me however. I am concerned about his ability to keep his ego in check when dealing with other powerful people and world leaders but I am, as I said, willing to give him a chance.

    >>>"It seems to me you are trying to normalize something that is terrifying. Have you noticed his appointments?"<<<

Not terrifying to me. I have noticed them.

    >>>"He doe not even trust our intelligence. And blatantly lies about Russia's involvement in our election. "<<<

There is no proof that he blatantly lied about Russia's involvement.

I stand by my previous statement.

    >>>"Dictator."<<<

It is this kind of hyperbole that keeps me from taking you seriously. I have seen you make sense and carry on a decent reasoned discussion. However, these crazy, off the deep end rants, and exaggerated fear mongering are all too common. Surely you can see they contribute nothing but provocation to the right wingers. If you do see that, explain to me what good comes of it.

    >>>"Have you not noticed I am not the only one? Forewarned is forearmed."<<<

Unless the forewarning is false, as in this case. Instead it is a veiled attempt to inflame people, so as to promote your partisan ideology. It is placing party before country and agenda before principle. The country is not going to fall to a dictatorial regime; the so called forewarning is a transparent partisan rant and nothing more.

One of the reasons I insist on remaining unaffiliated is, when a person associates themselves with a party, a great deal of linkages get associated with simple ideas, some good and a great deal that is odious and dishonorable. No thank you ma'am.

Whatever we utter on these chat threads ripples through eternity ... beware.

This is as bad as Germany in the 1930's. Was that fear mongering?

with one slight difference only: Back then the National SOCIALISTS were at it, taking over the country, legalislation, media and everything.

So this time, if anything like it - which I doubt - at least we don't have leftists (could have been, with HRC at the lead, horror!!!) leftist fascists in action like in Germany and in Italy back then!!!

Is this the CIA that said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction? And who said the CIA said that the Russians hacked the RNC system? The Washington Post?

Wait the RNC says their computers were never hacked. The DNC may not have been hacked either. The Democrat who gave their e-mail to Wikileaks was murdered. And Trump is supposed to accept and obvious conspiracy theory from the Washington Post?

Just more fake news from the lamestream media.
