Oh, yeah, the old "My mom has a friend that's making $78 an hour on the internet" example. Kaiser has a 2017 Silver plan for a 61 year old female for $762.19 with a $1500 deductible. The highest 2017 Kaiser premium, for a Platinum plan, is $1008/month, with a zero deductible. There are no plans with a $1500 premium. The plans with deductibles in the $6000 range cost $500 to $600/month. You weren't thinking healthcare was free, were you? individual-family.kaiserpermanente.org
