DJ, The only thing I can tell you is that I have seen many creative reasons some managements have given shareholders to explain whay their stock goes down. This "huge short position" baloney is the latest "fad" excuse made by companies who won't admit to poor management IMHO. GIFS made the same contention, right before they shut it down. We then found out that Zayed, the chairman, was responsible for all the selling pressure, as he was selling his stock in Canada. Everyone was calling for their certificates right before the stock was shut down, never to reopen. The company had their transfer (Florida Atlantic Transfer) agent resign just prior to this as well.
