I read that and gave it a quick thought. I pondered who ASND would acquire, I figure the best possibility would be a small company with ASDL technology, I'm not going to mention the names that came to mind at this point. I still feel Lucent will step up to the plate. So far CPQ is all talk hopes and dreams, they better get serious quick. NT?

Peter Greens stock picks have been weak at best? So there is no comfort in him saying Ascend is his favorite pick. Networks will be hot in '98..Cisco? I like FORE....and of course ASND

I saw hints of this a few times. They were doing in in October, I
believe, but then canceled or delayed it. I think they just
did put this through, or are in process. Could be they want to
acquire and their price is just to low to use. Makes sense to me anyway.
