Here in Colorado it was the Republicans who pushed legalization of marijuana through, Dem legislature resisted it. It was bizarre. It makes sense to me that progressives are more likely to toke up, so I was surprised. The argument of the Repubs sounded more like a left wing argument than a right wing argument.

Now in Colorado it is a Billion dollar industry and we collect over 100m in taxes from it.

making a comeback. New science and new testing. The idea that people can't go into their own yard and use a natural substance that might give them a lifetime of relief is mind boggling to me.

Saying mushrooms are evil - AND - saying that people have no right to their own body under right to die with dignity laws are just two of the most obvious reasons I think social conservatives are wrong headed.
