Exxon, and predecessors, is one of the organizations that provided the materials to provide escape from the poverty, misery, and destitution that prevailed for most of human history. Sans their contribution to human happiness, most now alive wouldn't now exist and the remnant would live in the miserable conditions that long were the norm for millennia uncountable.

And yet the sick and vile have the temerity to not only not appreciate what they did for humanity, but even attack them and their proxies.
