Your article pretty much confirms what I have argued; that is that health care fails when crammed into a capitalistic paradigm where profits drive decisions.

So then, what is the problem with replacing something that failed to reach it's goals with something that might achieve that? Nobody seems to count the middle class that cannot afford the deductibles, so they are now without health care, except for catastrophic. Are we stuck on stupid because liberals are infatuated with Obama?

In many other developed countries, health care is a human right. The idea that it should be subject to market forces is alien and rejected. The documentary movie 'Sicko' showed this clearly.
