from my understanding, there are about 420 reactors operating world wide and 40 are under construction. Largest growth is occuring in China and Russia.Several large projects are also under way in south america including argentina.

I will repeat I read in the New York Times that the Kyoto conference
leaned towards natural gas and away from building new reactors since
they are so expensive..there are already enough reactors to have
the stocks do well..
