But I am a patient person, so you are in luck. I stand by my comment> Maybe what you fancy as the role and function of these, is clearly not what Trump has in mind. Perhaps where you see purpose and power, he sees corruption, waste, and partisan bloatage. It appears he has picked critics of the status quo so they might take care of some long overdue house cleaning and possibly repurposing. I don't actually know why he does the things he does but that is my best guess.

I know more about the Department of Education. For at least a half century it has been serving the political machinery at the cost of students throughout the country. There has been lots of complaining and such but it is totally locked into its agenda which has destroyed our ability to develop competitive educational systems. It will take a critic who understands that to be able to make a difference.
