Why not just believe the eyewitnesses - the little girl and her mom who saw him run out? I'm willing to do that....what did the eyewitnesses see?

It seems unnatural to me that anyone would spend so much effort and time defending a child molester if he were not one himself. I would guess repressed guilt is the motive. What do you think?
