As someone better and brighter than I said over a year ago... it is WE who will see it coming and not the buy-the-dippers!

That being said, please know that what I know and think I share with you all. As I have said in prior posts, I think the end of the first quarter and first of the 2nd quarter is the vulnerable time for the markets. I am watching the April 1998 time frame closely.

Since Oct 13, 1997, we have had almost a 20% sell-off in NAZ top to bottom. It should have been closer to 25 IMHO.

I really don't think we will have a one-day crash to these levels (4,200), although it IS possible. We have indoctrinated too many baby-boomers in this buy the dips mentality. It is such a simple concept that it is difficult to believe it could ever be wrong... and maybe it isn't if you have the staying power of the Sultan of B or Gates. But if you are a potential retiree, you MAY be less than satisfied with your returns last year compared to expectations. And IMO it WILL be worse this year.
