What are you talking about? What threat? What attack? I just think the Crimeans made a stupid mistake in divorcing from Ukraine (and the West). IMO, It was certainly stupid in an economic sense, but it is what it is. No skin off my nose, anyway.

If the Scots vote for independence from England, and vote to join the EU, they would lie in that bed too. That's what voting does - it has consequences.

That's pretty much what I said. Although I think that the EU is on borrowed time. Too many languages, too many diverse cultures and too many historical divisions and hostilities to ever meld into a European nation. They should bag the Euro, bag the EU and just go back to their own currencies and the former Common Market..
