Hello Myron, As Tim said in a recent post on one of these Boards, a cross UP THROUGH a 200 day MA is a very powerful long term signal. If you run a system test of a 200 MA you will see what I mean. I think it's because a 200 day MA is one of the few technical indicators that is used by the general public. Why I even see it used on CNBC.... Please remember that a 200 day MA regardless of what type of MA you use, is a longer term indicator and would give back a lot of profit on the other side of the mountain BUT it's not a bad system if you have the patients.
