That is a preposterous statement. Who are the skeptics? Generally speaking they are people that don't even have a good scientific background. They are not the great scientists in the world. 95% of all the top scientists in the world agree with each other on that subject. Were they all fudging and scientists didn't take notice? Is It some worldwide grand conspiracy?

The right wing always throws out these nonsensical statements like they were caught fudging as though that explains anything. Most scientists are overzealous, because they know they're going to be checked by other scientists and they have great pride in their work.

But also from a statistical point of view, it is the vast preponderance of all the scienctists in the world that believe this and agree with each other. Why aren't they skeptics? Those are the types of questions you need to ask yourself.

The Scientists are understating the problem, not overstating it because they do not want us be seen as loony. The feedback loops and the temperature rises keep coming in above what the scientists predictions, , not below.

You might want to take note of that fact.
