Yes and yes.

In fact, I believe Tucker did ask him that question, several times, and the guy kept waving his notebook supposedly full of the falsehoods of Tucker Carlson.

In a Courtroom, the approach would be to let him bob and weave for a while and finally ask the Judge to please instruct the witness to answer the question.

TV is different from a Courtroom since there is no Judge to make the guy answer. Tucker's approach was to let the guy continue to obfuscate so the jury (we viewers) could see what a buffoon the guy is.

Tucker's show comes on here at 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, I'm still at work then and I don't have cable or a DVR, so I have to rely on video clips.
