A lawyer, with experience in labor law, should be able to tell you within a half hour whether you have a chance or not. Do try to get a recommendation from someone. Also, find out what lawschool they went to. Yale, Harvard, Berkeley, UCLA, Chicago, are good and there are about 8 other top notch schools but I can't remember who they are. Also, ask how much experience he/she has. Maybe there is an attorney who has one cases against your university. Someone experiencd with their policies would be perfect.
