Certainly, stringing together clips of speeches is often a way to mislead. It really depends on context as to whether the clips reflect the intent of the speaker or not. I agree wholeheartedly with you there, Kate.

I don't know if you actually watched the piece I posted or not though, so I don't know if you believe that what he said was taken out of context and doctored or believe that he was just kidding when he said what he said and not to be taken seriously. That is what I was curious about--how would Trump supporters react to him saying that many of things he said during the campaign were not meant seriously, he didn't believe them himself, but they were effective in getting people to turn out to vote for him, so he said them.
