everyone is comparing trump to reagan, back in reagan days interest rate on 30 year started at 12% when he took office, went up to 15% two years in then went down from there, so interest rates came down and market went up

things are not the same today, we are at all time highs on the dow instead of a 16 year low and interest rates are at 0.5% instead of 12%

the only way that dow goes up initially like it is now is if money from crashing bonds goes into stocks but eventually that crashed bond market will take a toll on the stock market, that has yet to play out
