Sorry to confuse you. I mean to say is: History is taught to people and the today's people, read about the glory that their countries was, 3.000 years ago, and project that glory in today's country and circumstances.

They wake up 4AM thinking that they are, today, what their ancestors and their country was 3.000 years ago they think that they are still that. IT is just a matter of us implement policies and the grandeur will return.
That is Iran and China today.

The bad part of History
Take MQ. He thinks that History about the British empire shows that today's English people have some distinction that makes their superior and they have something called Victorian Virtuous Values...
