That post makes you either sleazy or ignorant. It was the north that freed the slaves. And the north was the home of the Northeast liberal Republican Party. In those days the Liberal party was the Republican Party. Lincoln was a liberal. The Democratic Party was the party of the southern slave states. A rose by any other name is still a rose. And a conservative racist is a conservative racist by any other name.
