Absolutely! Here is why. Because we, me and you, are the higher level of intelligence and the world depend on a billion guys like me and you, whom, added together makes the powers that be watch out. A life in Tianjin is as valuable as a life anywhere in the planet. It is dangerous if we treat the lives elsewhere as less valuable than the ones close to us. This never ended well in the past and we , here in the west, do not want to restart what we know had already failed in the past.. See the West's sense of superiority vis a vis other people is exactly this what we call civilization where for the past 2.000 years many died for us to enjoy the benefits of what they left behind for us.
