where do you think what is happening, per imperatives leading to solutions, any and every which way?

Now you've asked the right question.
Short question. Short answer.
Globalization happened but very uneven and is even out. The next years are clear already. China has plateaued and is going to be Japan in the next decade or so. Japan has plateaued and is well you know already.

The premises is 120-page long
I did not start thinking that yesterday. I will tell the journey that got me here, I wrote the book that made China. It is 120-page long. And I do check my premises: Once in a while I go back there and just read some passages to see how accurate it was.

Since that was between 1987-1990, a quarter of a century have passed. I started a few months back to think about what it turned out to be?
I unlearned something on my book Re-learned some others and flushed others that I got wrong.

You are too close to the problem. I use this analogy to show a person what is to be too close to the problem. Place you hand with palm over your nose. What you see is not a hand. Is your palm out of focus. Stretch your arm. You no longer are close to the problem. Now you can see clear your palm of your hand with all details.

In real life, you have been too immersed in the local aspects of the recent history and need a breeze to fresh air on your perspectives. That is Elmat is bringing to you here.
That perspective that you lack by being too close to the problem to be able to see it.

Before proceed, have a Plan B to decamp forever from HK, I'm not suggesting you pack your bags but think it over as things can change very fast from here on. And it is not to pack to go to the mainland because would never bring your family to live there although you seem to think they can do no wrong and are bullet proof. Gravity will always reassert itself trust me.

There are no imperatives leading to solutions. This is what the clique in Beijing want the populace to believe. But you are not the mainland populace although you seem to start believing the propaganda. Stop it immediately! Unless that your Filipino portion of DNA took over :-)

The next years are clear already. China has plateaued and is going to be Japan in the next decade or so. Japan has plateaued and is well you know already.

when starting our current thread of dialogue,
No you did not. I did and caused a few rel LEDs to light up.
You went. What the hell" Why no one is talking, like Elmat?

as i sometimes do on this thread, i was using the opportunity to check my premise by seeing what you thought you see. now, at least in this instance, i can relax.
Ignore Elmat at your own peril. I can recall when I worked for Siemens and told people in 4 years just by 1994 our lives will no longer resemble that what we have lived.
Laughs all around. They did not know what was on store for them even me telling them.

I told the Germans who loved the Deutsche Mark, Money is just like thermometer. It has no intrinsic value, you can use K, F or C but water will always froze or boil as per physics
Laughs all around, a bit over 10 years after the DM (that was revered ore than the German flag) was history.

It is those kind of past truths that make me seat here and relax as I know what is going to be is going to be.
I am imagining you laughing all around...
