>>even if Hillary had won - she would have been a completely worthless President because the House and Senate remain in republicans control.

wow, so you consider the supreme court pick "worthless
Also it would have been worthless to appoint qualified people to run govt agencies such as the EPA instead of Trump's appointments which are designed to destroy these agencies
And I guess it would have been worthless to block the republicans killing of Obamacare instead of trying to make it better
And I guess it would have been worthless to not let the Republicans privatize SS and Medicare
the list of worthwhile things are endless

you really live in an alternate universe of reality

>>Because of the hate they had for her she probably would have ended up getting impeached.

Impeached for what???

Democrats REALLY need to get this figured out!

I don't like the D's any more than I like the R's, which is not much at all, so please take this as coming from a disinterested space. Hillary was a bad candidate in large part because she had been active in government for a couple of decades and under assault from the R's the whole time so she had a ton of baggage. Bernie and Trump had no track record ergo no negative track record. Bernie also got her to shift left somewhat.

I think it's important for D's to differentiate a poor candidate from a poor platform and not to attribute the whole thing to the candidate. I expect what the D's will do coming out of this is to shift left and that is not a winning place to be unless the R's screw up royally. There are not enough states that will tolerate anything left of center-left.
