Carol, Please, please don't tell me condiment has a "u" in Canadian
spelling. I can't stand it!!! Not coundiment?? It can't be?
I have tried and tried to abandon my wicked ways by adding "u's" generously whenever I describe a flavour, anything I savour or in any way favour. I have been denigrated because I still say "z" not "zed" and my French has a bit of Spanish accent; although I will gladly walk a kilometre and pretend it's a mile or tell my weight in kilograms instead of pounds. But the thought of adding a "u" to condiment is simply too much. Please tell me it isn't so!
