Onbonzo can talk his recovery up all he wants but it is just smoke .....there is a 10 store strip mall on the main drag into Poughkeepsie. It was built new probably around 2006 It was fully populated until the crash in 2008...........one by one, stores closed until by 2010, there was only one left...........Pop's Deli.......he lasted 3 years until folding in 2013 The ENTIRE mall was MT for the better part of the last three years until this spring when a pizza place opened . Now these people appear to be East European and opened a pizza place right down the street from a 4 Brothers Restaurant (pizza plus full Italian/Greek restaurant) and less than 2 miles from 2 other well established and successful pizza joints. So I walk into this place and explain to them the close entrenched competition they have. They were totally oblivious to everything I said and so I just left them with three competing menus and prices.....to NO effect. I fully expect this newly opened store to fold within a year. So starting in Feb, we'll see if Trump has any effect on bringing this mall back to life..............it was clearly DEAD under Obama.
