For all my negativity about Trump, it looks like it's going to be even worse. Which does not surprise me. Now he's talking today about wanting to dramatically increase our nuclear arsenal

and levy of 5% tariff which will hurt the poor.

<<<<< Trump have driven us into a ravine they can't deny>>>>>

That was one of the points I was trying to make bentway; that is that they can deny it. They can deny it because Trump is not one of the republican leaders - he is out on a limb all by himself. In four years assuming your doomsday scenario comes true - the other republicans can say "we told you Trump was nuts" and there is some truth to that.

Depends though on what Trumps world looks like in four years. If he is able to continue to push the economy forward with fiscal infrastructure spending programs - now that the stimulus looks to be done as interest rates rise - he could look good from an economic point of view. Remember- "it is the economy stupid". Who said that? Do you remember? It was James Carville who said it in 1992 for the Clinton campaign.
