We can shrink the wealth gap without tariffs. A socialist-capitalist mix is reality - the mix needs to be dynamically tuned. Level playing fields that value human rights are essential.

This is the way it has been for decades, not 100% of course - but the reality. Socialism isn't just debunked communism; it is all the reasonable codes, laws and regulations people design. The pie gets bigger because of them. Short-term profiting segment A hates them -- and the rest of the economy B-Z benefit. This is where ADULTS like me you and me -) have to get in the room and work it out for the most social and economic benefit for all. Clean air & water, libraries, public safety services, military, anti trust enforcement, accounting fraud enforcement etc. etc. Check out Smoot-Hawley history if you want a preview of what happens when you don't learn from history. Trump is playing with a new colossal volatile winners/losers bubble... certainly followed by a depression. The smart ones will make out with $B's while the citizens hold the debt again. Then another adult like Obama/Yellen will come along and slowly return to growth of a smaller pie. Human rights and human lives will suffer around the world. Trump played on people's emotions. He is the greatest insider advantaged scam man of ALL TIME. And he will enjoy your losses from his Royal Towers.
