Judy, my experience with WEB trading is that it's fine if it's backed
with a live-broker system. When panic buying/selling kicks in,
the internet on-line system usually goes down. I use live broker
more for another reason...I have a tendancy to pull the trigger
too fast with WEB trading.

Judy,

Schwab, Lombard, & Dreyfus all offer stop limit. Lombard market order execution is horrible - always get gauged - heard similar comments from others on market orders placed thru Lombard.

I am looking at Dreyfus (formerly Pacific).

despite Lisa has had some negative experiences with them, AG has been using them a long time now and he is happy with their services.

they offer both online - web and thru private dataline, plus live broker.

commissions, esp on options, are the cheapest I have seen.
credit balance now at 4.25% - decent enough.

Heard from others using Lombard (now discover), have no problem access live broker on 10/28 eventhough Web is inaccessible. Schwab was miserable on that day.

will check out Siebel also because of their TV ad :)
