You guys are funny. You go read the THQ board MY post there to help yourselves feel better about holding your overvalued ATVI. Well, I'll tell you, it would be a great idea for ATVI to buy THQ because your stock is extremely overvalued and THQ's is fairly to undervalued. Where you get 12- 14 for THQ in the near future, I have no idea. This deal would cost you 12.5 million shares at 16. For a company that is pulling private placements for 60 million, I am not sure you guys can cut it. Then of course, there are the egos to attend to. Kotick vs. Farrell? I'll take one Farrell for 10 Koticks. You've got a little kid in the boardroom.

Regards,

Vic

PS- This is pure fundamental babble. I can trade ATVI, THQI and many others technically. If you're nice, I may tell you when to buy and sell.

Alex,

I tried the Myth demo and it makes me ill. I always want to be looking level and away, rather than down at an angle. But I'm glad you
and your kids like it.

ATVI's got a decent lineup in the console arena for 1st half of 1998.
If they can generate a market on their own in consoles then that's the way to go. Think about pouring all that money that would have been spent in an aquisition to buying up the rights to games from third party developers and expanding internally? Anyway, a lot of the games from THQI, though they
have a huge following....WCW wrestling, Bassmaster's Fishing, etc (I think I got these title names right)...may be old news when competition comes in...we'll see. Kotick is right about focusing on core brands and franchises....Look what it's done for the toy industry, also plagued by the "gotta have a hit" phenomenon. Barbie, GI Joe....traditional strong sellers every year without having to reinvent the wheel every year. That's what ATVI is trying to do with
BattleZone, Asteroids, Shanghai, Heavy Gear, Zork (of course), I'76,
Dark Reign, Pitfall, etc. A good long-term strategy.

Sony Playstation will be around to 2000...I would wager N64 will be too. Nice thing about software vs.
hardware is that the transition to new platforms will be easier for software makers.

Anyhow...good luck!

Tom C.
