Dennis,

First you were right on the 3% load. Fidelity does not waive 3% load for retail retirement accounts. However, if the retirement account is set up by a non-profit employer to cover all employees, Fidelity may waive the 3% load. When I told Chris no 3% load, I did not consider all cases.

FIDSX has lost some strength in recent days. I'll wait.

I'll also wait on FSESX. Now the oil price is below $18. I like FSESX better if the oil price moves back up to $19. There is no direct relation between oil price and driller profits, but many people link oil price with driller profits.

It may vary with your type of account and what your employer has arranged with Fidelity. My 403b is no load. There is no fee when I transfer in funds. If I hold for greater than 30 days, then I pay basically $15 per transaction (with the Select funds). This may be different for individual IRAs. The 3% rule doesn't exist in 403b/401 k accounts.
