You are not talking to Trump here.. Nor am I... we are speaking to your countrymen and in many cases like me Canucks who have a taxation without representation stake... There are over 33 million of us.. That is big swing... I totally understand 'opinion' but when has your stance ever converted... except by the sword ... The most transitory of conversions The US is not viewed as you think.. Rep/Dem.. You really believe that the world see a difference.. ? They DON'T.. The US has NO whitehats.. wrt world opinion except finally possibly Mr O to a bit.. ... except by sycophants (Think Dickens and Uriah Heep) The left has lying lyers also.. I feel bad that the US citizens are so polarized .. Another poster (US) pointed out to me that they are fragmented.. not polarzied.. HOWEVER de facto you guys are POLARIZED between DEMS AND GOP... I guess Here I may as well incorporate my response on H Clinton to elpolvo who's onion counts to me.We Canucks have 3 main parties.. Conservative. Liberal and NDP (New Democratic Party) .. i HAVE HEARD much COMMENTARY BY CANADIAN POLITICAL PUNDITS ON THIS ISSUE... Conservatives .. OK Harper stepped down.. The Conservatives are actually a NEW party.. Formed by the old populist reform and alliance parties of the West.. watered down for Eastern Canadian consumption .. Merged with the last remaining sub 10 members of the old Progressive Conservative party destroyed as a result of Mulroney ... to make them mainstream palatable.. In essence guys on Sioux's thread (where yes I do feel comfy) and per polvies' (polite) comment on me and rose wrt H Clinton (No rancor here.. just giving my point) ..Again we are Canucks.. Maybe like the 13th tribe of the US LOL... but we are smart.. social(ist ?) .. STRONGLY believe in handups.. DO NOT BELIEVE IN HAND OUTS mostly... I would say that US politics is EXTREMELY confusing for Canucks.. except for.. It is very difficult for us to even conceive how so many could be GOP ! We see (Almost all Canucks I know) as the Dem party encompassing 98% of our mainstrean politica spectrum... EVEN though our Federal Conservatives went a tad right... The thought of Harper being a republican... is SOOOOOOOO laughable... He just fcuked up and did not deliver on his promises... like the Senate in particular.. The dialectic here is a huge issue... what many of you Dem voters consider progressive or Liberal.. would be far Conservative for many Canadians... (YES among the Goldbugs you will find different talk.. but honestly for Canucks they are truly in the margin.. So to cut it short... looking at Hillary Clinton.. Canadians and most of the world I warrant ... did NOT see a Liberal or a Progressive... only another game player.. That is why the Dem's lost.. US electorate (as TERRIBLY SAD as turnout was) came to the very same conclusion... Folks like koan were willing to say 'one more chance' but the folks that gwt off their buts and vote did not agree.. Trump may be a catastrophe... but EVERY AMERICAN and world citizen NEEDS to THINK NOW... Trump the EVENT may be the most significant political statement in that last half century...
