Mutual funds are run by people (age 27-45) too young. The view points of fully invested to get maximum gain is self defeating. Proper cash reserve of 5% is the old way of self preservation. The market requires cash pool to prevent unneccessary sell offs. Sell offs on fully invested funds creates volitility.

To gain equilibrium, funds have to anticipate price moves of 20%. The cash reserve of 5% then, should be 6% now. Without it the market will be volitile and the mutual funds will not perform well. Individual investors with steady wages or earnings are strong hands without desire to lock in profits. The market will serve them well if only the funds do not upset the markets.

AMES will do well and be above plan. The expectation of the end of year earnings will be close to expectation provided the store closing (management decision) is favourable. Better by far, if none were closing. But the price moves depend on leading market maker whether they put their cash pool into make a market for AMES or not?

funny.. 3 weeks ago everyone said the bull run was 'getting tired'. Not being a wise guy, but to be perfectly honest ive learned one thing in my short time as an investor. NOBODY KNOWS. Once all the dust settles and the over reacting towards whatever moves the markets stops, it can go any which way...

I personally am watching AMES in hopes of adding more to my position. Could we be blessed with another down day today? lets hope...
