I don't think you grasp the magnitude of the problem, at all. Removing the SS cap will not come close to solving the SS problem. CBO has projected, correctly IMO, that in addition to eliminating the cap on SS you would have to massively increase the tax rate to reach even a 75-year solvency. What you're really talking about is making it totally a welfare program.

The other point that liberals don't seem to understand is that there is only so much tax base. And Medicare is going to have to have a LOT of it to retain its solvency.

I think if you would do the arithmetic you would understand these problems are more complex than you seem to understand.

You fell apart talking about Medicare, I imagine, because you have no idea how big that problem is.

Bush tax cuts had NOT ONE THING to do with these topics.

You repeat the same old crap on this topic and you simply don't have any idea what you're talking about.
