Ron, Remember the re-up Vietnam bonus? <Indeed I do. I knew two guys who took it. Where was Trump then... oh yeah... > I think he had life threatening bone spurs. I had a kid from Indiana whom I pleaded with not to take it...he was an RA and had 6 months to go out of his three year hitch. ....but $5k or $15k (I can't remember which) was more money than he had ever seen (or me too for that matter) Plus had a bunch of officers blowing smoke at him telling him what a great deal it was...he loved the recognition....I was so pissed at them but I was only an E5 and couldn't take them on ......I was short at the time.... 60 days. He got his 30 days leave and was back in country in a month. Sadly, he never made it back to Indiana. Nice kid. Altair19
