conclusion: WE collectively are just really stupid and ignorant people... WE deserve what we get We "collectively" voted for Hillary. Not the point though. I grew up in Chicago, where the Dems were the tough guys. They drank beer not Chardonnay. You didn't cross them. They always won, precinct by precinct. And in those days they were damned good at running "the city that works". Now, their marketing is way off base from where the a bunch of the electorate is thinking. They've got to change, or the electorate has to change. We need some tough guys... Harry Truman types. Ah, I don't know, just thinking out loud and venting. Not sure I even care anymore... any country that could elect a con man isn't worth the time to type these stupid messages.

When I go out, I watch the people and guess who I think can name all seven continents. It is pretty clear, not enough. I am an Asian cinema lover. No matter how boring the movie, they have an understanding of shallow and deep, simple and complex, woven into their everyday culture. All of their cinema has thinking in it and little of ours does.
