Obama's speech today about how America only has one president at a time is a perfect metaphor for his presidency. Yes, that is theoretically correct, historically correct and how it is supposed to be by tradition, you teach that in a classroom at the University.

But what Obama never quite caught on to, was that this is not a class room, it is down and dirty, words are unimportant, power is what's important. Trump knows that he can do what he wants and who is going to stop him?

All I hear is shouldn't, shouldn't, shouldn't, which the Republicans never hear.

Obama never seemed to think in terms of competing powers and how to build a powerful Democratic party. to help him out. He was a high plains drifter, a solo act.

Another good example is the fact that he refused to pack the courts.

Contrasting Obama's presidency to FDR's presidency says it all. FDR didn't just pack the courts, he did it on steroids, he tried to increase the number of SC seats so he could really pack it-lol. I'm sure that Obama would never think of that.

Obama told the banks In 2009 he was there to protect them from the public. FDR called them organized crime.

The Republicans are junk yard dogs and I think we sent a well coiffed poodle into deal with them.

But after Bush we knew we needed, and thought we were getting, a wolf.
