Yes, but I mixed up the other famous 'key hole' case about light with the one about the air molecules as well. The case about the light, where a single photon can pass thru 2 keyholes at the same time - without the photon ever having passed any of the 2 places. Quantum theory definitely applies here :)

The all-of-the-air collected in one room only leaving a temporary vacuum in the other is a lot easier to, well - "understand"...
