judy: I have been using Fidelity Web Express for trading in the last two months. It is generally satisfactory. Sometimes it is slow. The confirmations are fast. When I am desperate ( it happened a couple of times when the system was slow), I had to resort to use touch-tone trader system to make trades. I hate to talk to the Fidelity Spartan trader as I am frequently kept on hold even in the normal times. I have no experience with other brokers. $ 14.95 commission for 1000 shares or below. Option commissions $ 1.75/contract

Ron, doesn't Fidelity's inability to accomodate buy stops or sell stops restrict your trading flexibility ... or do you not hold trading positions long enough for this to matter?

btw, I've used FOX (DOS version, yep!) and Touch Tone Trader for my Fido accounts.
