It doesn't help their cause to have Sec. 13.2.4 of their recent tech report pointing out that they are using hydrofluoric acid in their purification stream and then subjecting the resultant material to a very high temperature in order to remove the impurities. I suspect that this is necessary because a large amount of their graphite resource is "disseminated" in "dirty" marble and is hard to recover without including impurities, such as sulphur, in the ore feed.
