Thanks for input on PVAT. I think a look at January effect stocks might be productive to all. Stocks such as APM fit this category and also CS...Cabletron Systems and CTSC...have a look DR would ya?..I think they'll be winners for January.

doug can you give me some background on your mimbo theory, what i have so far is mountain in the middle of a breakout, looking at vpur for example, it looks like a stage three chart(weinstein), is the mountain you refer to the consolditaion period where selling and buying are balancing out , and is it true from there you look for an uptrend and volume increase to eliminate the possibility of a stage 4 fallout? extremely interested, and appreciate as much advice as you're willing to share.

NSS may take 2 or 3 weeks to establish that higher low of the IHS and then break out. It goes on a weekly watch since the intermediate term SMI is not yet to bullish levels. The chart looks rather falling knifelike so it may only amount to a short-term trade.
