What irks me most about being a smoker is that cigarettes run me, not the other way around, and being a smoker is ridiculously inconvenient and danged expensive! AND . . . you are paying taxes you would not otherwise be paying.

FWIW, men are far more successful than are women at tobacco cessation--something about enzymes.

I have but rarely and fleetingly realized that unique sense of contentment that comes with the realization that I no longer have to smoke.
