Car burglar killed in SW Houston about 3 AM a day ago. Heard it on the news. May not even make the paper. A home owner in southwest Houston heard noises outside about 3 AM. He went out carrying a pistol and found three guys breaking into his car (they'd already burglarized a car across the street). Two ran. The third ran up on the homeowner and was shot fatally in the face. There will be no charges for the homeowner of course.
