Haler:

Your cost numbers are a bit off. Total G* cost is $2.86 billion while Iridium total cost is $4.41 billion. Not half, but still significantly cheaper.

I went from my memory, but I believe the costs of Iridium to be more then double Globalstar, I don't have my records handy. I did buy Iridium on it's IPO at $22.50 and had all the facts on both, I* and G*.

One thing that I'm still not clear on is what is the reason for the recent Iridium increasing their borrowing for $1,000,000,000. Is there some cost increase unannounced, or is this for administrative and marketing?

Larry or Dan can you shed some light on this?

Thx,
Hale

Hale,
You said: "Iridium has a tolerance for failure of approx. 4 satellites, G* has provided for a launch failure rate 3-times..."

This is not Hale. It is Hail. Where did you get that data from? What is the basis for statements like this???!!! Totally incredible. I am eager to read the story you will put up to support it...
