The only reason it's so high (200) in Canada, is that there's easy purchase and smuggling of guns from the USA.

How does that relate to the black population percentage in each of those countries? No, it is not racism to ask this question, since by far the most murders in the US are committed by black people - and in most cases on black people. /Taro

I have news for you dummy, guns did not murder anybody. People do the murdering.
The fact is that blacks murder blacks at a rate five times higher than whites murder whites.

These are the numbers of murders per one million of victim's population in 2014.

Whites murdered by whites. 10.1 per million of victim's population
Blacks murdered by blacks. 52.3 per million of victim's population.

Murder rates per 100,000 population from UNODC. Even with the above Black on Black murder rate we are not so bad. Just think how low our murder rate would be if Blacks would stop killing blacks at such a high rate.

Now bentone, you think guns are the problem and the reason the problem cannot be solved is the Republicans.
So tell me your realistic solution to what you see as the problem. If the Republicans would go along with whatever your realistic solution is, what would your solution be? I have asked others before and they have been at a loss and offered no solutions. Shep has no solution for example. I doubt you will do any better but here is your chance. Go for it.
