I know facts are not really your thing. But...

The recession ended in June of 2009, by the commonly used definition of recession.

Given that the GDP growth rate has been at least 2% per quarter since 2010, and as high as 4.9%, I don't know where you get the idea the recovery has just started.

But, I don't follow wingnut media. No doubt it is played very differently inside the echo chamber.

The economy started a decline in 2007. Long before Obama was elected. So that is something else you made up.

So you're saying the economic crisis that was boiling since 2007 and had its roots in financial deregulation and mortgage liar loans promoted by Bush and reached a crescendo in 2008 when it all came crashing down, was really just because Obama was leading in the polls for POTUS in late 2008... seriously, how do you post such crap and expect anything but blowback from people who like to deal in reality?... now of course you can go whining to bentway about personal attacks... you seem to have the same modus of Trump... spew non-stop crap and when someone in the audience objects, you demand them be thrown out of the audience

Wow, it really doesn't get more idiotic than a statement like this:

>>> the way the economy crashed when it became clear he would win in 2008. Everyone knew we were electing a total idiot and the economy reacted accordingly.
