I agree, the file system is hard to understand. Windows is easy peasy in comparison. But Linux, which is a form of Unix is far more stable. I like the fact that not many use it, because apparently, it's not worth while for those who want to infect computers to bother with Ubuntu. Consequently, I have never used any anti-virus program. There are updates on a regular basis. It's definitely good enough for my purposes. I feel sort of guilty, going along for a free ride if you know what I mean?
