Lawyers, accountants and doctors are also service jobs. (In some sense any job is, but I'm going by standard definitions, not trying to argue a manufacturing worker provides the "service" of connecting various pieces of a car together...)

But even limiting the covnersation to low skill service jobs, retail, trash collection, snow removal, digging ditches (to the extent its not done by more skilled people with heavy equipment), hand picking vegetables, etc. they still create income and wealth, just less of it.

"Wealth producing job" doesn't imply "a job that makes you wealthy".
