Nothing new under the sun here folks as far as "continuous commands" goes. Had this stuff, as an overlay, available on any engine for the past 3 years by people like Kolvox, Typhoon, and Digital Dictate . Mouse movements by voice are nice, but are only relevant in the assistive technology market for now; CAD by voice??, you must be joking... Voice recognition is merely a supplemental way of entering your information, and making the workplace more efficient. Voice macro's take up most of the slack when adressing "mouse movements". My eyes are on the true continuous speech product ("Plus" ) that was re-written from the ground up by the Kurzweil team(which they aquired). Having been a reseller of voice products for the past 3.5 years, I always had a particular liking for the way Kurzweil approached the "human interface" factor, as well as the accuracy of their engine. Always elegant and tight. Not just a contender for the throne in the near future, displacing either IBM or Dragon( both have their relative merits ), but possibly stellar. We'll just have to wait and see, and I'll keep you posted. Discuss....
